Aerial Mapping & Survey

LiDAR Capture

With the DJI L2 fitted to our DJI M300RTK we are able to capture sites both large and small with precision, even through heavy vegetation. 

The term LiDAR comes from the phrase Light Detection and Ranging—basically, using lasers to collect data about a surface, which can then be processed into 3D models.
LiDAR has an advantage over traditional aerial mapping that uses photos to recreate surfaces in that the lasers can penetrate dense vegetation and therefore create more accurate elevation or terrain models in those areas. LiDAR is also great for measuring things like vegetation encroachment of power lines and revealing archaeological remains hidden by forest.

Thermal Imaging for Pest Control

We provide thermal imaging via drone for a wide variety of industries and uses and  helped pioneer it's use in the McKenzie District for wallaby monitoring, along with counting feral cats, possums, goats, pigs, deer and even finding lost dogs.

Aerial Drone Lighting

We are able to fly drones at night thanks to our Part 102 certificate and operate a FreeFly Alta 6 equipped with a 1000W Stratus LED that puts out 250,000 lumens! This movie set grade light is capable of creating stunning lighting and dynamic shadow movements from above for film, or act as a giant off-camera flash in the sky.
