Aerial Mapping & SurveyingWe are Marlborough's drone mapping experts - thanks to our 13+ years industry experience and our professional grade drones, our team are capable of mapping large areas in ultra-high resolution to provide unprecedented levels of detail.
Whether it is to monitor change or progress over time, planning for building, monitoring stockpiles or to simply to provide that birds eye view of your property, we do it all. We can even partner with your preferred survey company to provide sub centimeter accuracy where required. We have several drones for differing mapping requirements such as the DJI M300 RTK with the 45MP full frame P1 camera or the VTOL Quantum Systems Trinity F90+ with Sony RX1Rii 42MP full frame - large or small we can map it all. Please contact us today to discuss your drone mapping requirements. |
LiDAR
With the DJI L2 fitted to our DJI M300RTK we are able to capture sites both large and small with precision, even through heavy vegetation.
The term LiDAR comes from the phrase Light Detection and Ranging—basically, using lasers to collect data about a surface, which can then be processed into 3D models.
LiDAR has an advantage over traditional aerial mapping that uses photos to recreate surfaces in that the lasers can penetrate dense vegetation and therefore create more accurate elevation or terrain models in those areas. LiDAR is also great for measuring things like vegetation encroachment of power lines and revealing archaeological remains hidden by forest.
Please contact us today to discuss your LiDAR capture needs.
